520 ## $aReading comprehension is one of the important skills of students in the process of learning English, besides, this is also a difficulty for many students at English centers. Therefore, the main purpose of this thesis is to improve reading comprehension skills for 10th grade students at an English center in Hanoi. The main tools for collecting data are pre- and post-tests, survey questionnaires and teacher observations. The participants are 17 students in a class at the center. All students participated in the pre- and post-tests as well as the survey to support the researcher to perform better. The research results show that the method of using metaphor analysis in the process of learning reading comprehension has brought positive results for students' reading comprehension skills.
