520 ## $aThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of mind mapping as a teaching strategy for enhancing English-speaking skills among learners at an English center in Hanoi and to investigate learners' attitudes toward its use in improving their speaking abilities. The research involved 30 learners who were taking the English course named Flyers. The study was conducted over a period of 12 weeks, following the four essential procedures outlined in Kemmis and McTaggart's (1988) action research cycle. A mixed method approach was applied to achieve the study’s objectives, integrating both quantitative and qualitative methods to provide a comprehensive evaluation. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, a series of questionnaires, and follow-up interviews conducted after the 12-week intervention. According to the findings, the implementation of mind mapping at the English center significantly enhanced learners' speaking skills, as demonstrated by substantial improvements in pre-test and post-test results. Learners' attitudes toward mind mapping were overwhelmingly positive, with students reporting increased interest, motivation, and satisfaction.
